I'm suppose to get free charging at EA for another 2 years. Plug and charge has been working fine and after the session, the Porsche App would normally show that my cost was $0.00. But the last few charging session, the Porsche App would show the value that it would charge me for the session as if I didn't have the free 30 min session.

Is this affecting anyone else?

My car is a CPO that I just received, and I set up the electrify America charging subscription. My first charge showed me zero dollars and the second charge showed me roughly $18. But the amount wasn’t actually charged to my credit card. So maybe the app is showing you the amount of energy you consumed in dollars, but not actually charging you for it? That’s my hypothesis anyway.

Is free EA charging included when you. Start paying the $300 for Porsche connect or is that an unfounded rumor?

I never had to pay the $300 fee. Free charging was included for 3 years. Worked well until about 2 wks ago. Had multiple free sessions, then the App started displaying the cost in late may. About the same time I activated the Charge point subscription. Not sure if this was related.

I still haven't got an invoice yet, but I expect it any day now. I contacted Porsche and they're looking into it.

I just charged yesterday, and it still shows $0 for me. This is the "History" tab data in the app. Perhaps it says something different in the web version?

I had that problem 2 weeks ago. Call Porsche Support to get the charges removed.

They gave a certificate. But didn't fix the underlying problem. Do you still get charge or has the problem been fix?

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. The History tab use to show $0, but now shows the actual amount.

My question wasn’t clear. The $300 fee only applies after 3 years and I heard that if you pay for the Porsche connect free charging is included but I have no idea if that is true or not.

It's no longer free for me. If anyone's getting free charges with the renewal, then count yourself lucky.

Have you checked the website under My Porsche account?

Yes, it's listed there also. Same as the app. What's strange is that when I finished the charging session, the screen on the EA terminal said the cost was 0.00. but the App is reporting the cost, not 0.00. Porsche NA can't figure it out. They escalated to Germany.
