So, first time ive checked the service record in on board pcm.

It says self performed service at 62k in the service section. It was serviced by Colchester on this date and mileage and also had all new PScB discs and pads.

The cars always been to Porsche Colchester for absolutely everything. Why would this be?

The 38k service didn’t happen. On the 12/12/23 it was a 40k service at 42k.

19/3/25 it had a service at 62k at Porsche Colchester.

I’ve owned the car from new.

Any ideas?

My best guess would be the tech did not create the service entry correctly with PIWIS.

Just ask them to fix it.

On the other hand congrats on actually using your car! Its great to see an example with some miles on it!

It’s just ticked over 80k now and is still mint. It was my company car that I spec’d from new, and I’ve just bought it off the company car provider now the term has ended. Probably a silly decision but the price was good obviously I know the car and history and still love it, although owning it now brings a little more worry than knowing everything was covered by the company should anything have gone wrong previously!

A few months back it had 11k spent ( company paid) for the last service and all new PSCB disc/pads all round and one rear tyre. Got 2 more front tyres fitted and fully inspected at Porsche pre taking ownership, so think I’ve covered most consumables before taking ownership.

It comes with an aftermarket warranty ( max 5k claim unlimited claims by TMO) but I’m considering trying to get the extended Porsche warrenty but even though I’ve had the car from collection day as technically I’m a new owner I’ve got to wait 3 months and get an inspection before they’ll apply the warrenty. Just over 3k for 3 years cover following £380 inspection but will give piece of mind.

Just to update , been back to Porsche for service and they say it can’t be fixed. They’ve admitted it was a Porsche system backend issue a couple of years back, and have written this on the service but say it can’t be changed!! Not really happy as not good enough really. Surely they can amend it! Point 7

Also said it would have been the same on others cars serviced during this period 23/24 and they would show incorrectly.

You've got it in print, and the stamp in the book - so I wouldn't worry. If I were a future buyer I'd consider this "full service history" and not devalue the car because of it
