Second, my view based on evidence that the battery is happy at 50% that may not be material or make any difference long term but that is what I do. My daily habit is to bring it home at 50% so if I do not drive next day, it is happy standing, but if I do, then I plug it in and charge to whatever I need above 50% so when I am back it is back at 50%.

I remember watching that video about the battery being happiest at 50%. I think he also mentioned that for the summers that is even more important. I also admire your dedication to keeping it as close to that as possible.

I dont know that I have the dedication to that. But I did adjust my top level of charging to 75% after watching the video as opposed to the 80-85% that Porsche recommends. For this summer heat I should probably lower that target to 65%. I also now recharge at 40%. So I guess for now I will keep the car between 40-65% which should be fairly easy to do.

That is actually perfect, anywhere plus/minus 10% of 50% is what is recommended.
I hope this practice is helping a little as I just gone from 87% SoH to 91% SoH after my routine every 5k miles cell rebalance as I reached 30k miles. The first HV battery warranty threshold is 3 years or 37.5k miles and no less than 80% SoH.

Thats great information. I am about to hit 3 years in September, so I need to start measuring SOH.

Now I have to buy me a scanner, or use that CT14 software.
