I have like 22K miles on my CT4S, and last week I noticed my driver's front started showing cords. I wouldn't have noticed if the annual inspection guy hadn't put it on the lift. On the passenger side, I had to replace it twice due to curb damage, so I can't see that wear pattern on the other side. Car tracks just fine, still feels like new.
Had the tires already months ago... was just too busy to get them swapped

Please share what kind of tire this is: Size, Summer/All Season, Brand.
I have no such issues, front OEM Conti All Season 21 inch evenly worn at 15k miles, rears holding their own at 30k, but need to check fronts again since it has been 15k miles, but traction and lateral hold is good and I do a lot of spirited driving with lateral load - round abouts and highway curved ramps.

No idea about heights; it is '23 CT4S. Whatever the lowest setting in Sport Plus is, I noticed that mode is in, too.

I have the same model, had the same tires, and also live in the Northeast. I got ~37K on mine....but should have stopped around 35K. Riding on the lowest setting increases inner tire wear the most. I switched to the Continentals and really like the improvement in noise and feel. I no longer ride primarily on the lowest setting. Will be interesting to see how much I can get out of the new set.

Worth trying to find a good shop (not a freaking dealer with a $1K minimum I was quoted) to check the alignment, or am I overthinking and just letting it be? The backs still have half the meat left on them.

These tires are not good tires to start with, so I would start down the path of going with Continentals.

I am not sure why you would drive in ECO mode (called Range) as this is kind of useless.

As far as alignment, my dealer charges $250 to check it, so I would do that first, then full alignment was quoted around $800, so I would negotiate with your dealer. The alignment is very involved as it also includes alignment of the safety systems (not sure why) and possibly removal of the front bumper (remember someone mentioned this) and takes about full day to do.

I would not put new tires on until you at least verify your alignment is good.

Pretty sure ECO/Range & Sport Plus mode puts the car in the lowest suspension setting which introduces a lot of camber, hence the worn inner tire shoulder. Plenty of threads on this.
