I have a J1 MY22 Taycan and charge mostly at home. My experience out and about is mixed but charging speeds seem to be more down to the charger than the car. I think the Taycan is capable of dealing with anything you can throw at it.
I recently used the new Ionity chargers in Hull - 8 units...
I admire your ingenuity in coming up with your own solution, but owners shouldn't have to do this if Porsche had come up with a better design!
There seems to be some confusion whether their new design is covered under warranty - as the original isn't fit for purpose, it should be!
I was the buyer of Bob's FitCamX and can confirm it works very well. I read up a lot before I came to fit it - the biggest problem was getting the middle part to fit flush with the camera housing and the main cover. But with some persistence and a trim removal kit...
Because the cooling ducts run behind the undertray. Any damage could impact on individual cells or groups of them.
The design and materials of the undertray on the latest model J1.2 is modified from the steel found on the original J1.1. It's very vulnerable to damage, particularly when the...
I've been struggling to get my car to talk with Intelligent Octopus Go and have had a reminder I need to regularly connect if I want to stay on the tariff.
The problem is my car is not listed as compliant, either in the Octopus App or their website. But when I first joined IOGo, it worked fine...
I've had this letter too.
Very confusing - called the OPC who couldn't explain what software had been updated when my car went in for a new communications module in February. At the time, they told me this diagnostic software had been loaded, allowing Porsche to monitor the battery remotely...
It was the WRS0 campaign - 'checking high-voltage battery cell modules and installing battery diagnostic software'.
I received the letter about it in December. The workshop manager who collected my car yesterday (as he lives close to me) asked if I had it, and said they would install it at the...
Porsche has offered me no other option than to keep the CTEK charger trickle charging the 12v during periods when I'm away for more than 2 weeks. I'm not aware of any software updates that addresses this, but will ask when the car goes in tomorrow for another fault - resetting the data connection.
No, I didn’t want access from the outside. The charger terminal location enables quick access once the bonnet is open, without removing the plastic cover piece.
I’ve had 2 incidents where the 12v ran down. The AA/Porsche Recovery got me going the first time, the second I did it myself. But I...
