I get a kick out of watching people in the car behind me at stoplights sort out the blacked out "Porsche" in the taillight of my CT.
I don't get a kick out of all the racers in pickup trucks thinking they're racing me.
My comment was that there is no damage to protect from.
update: I've put several thousand miles on my ct4 already, including camping trips up gravel roads, and still don't see any need for me to waste my money on PPF.
Fill me in, How many Rubicons have PPF.
I've owned and driven plenty of cars with "exposed" hoods, lol, yet have no need to spend thousands of dollars on PPF.
I didn't comment on your view of PPF, I could not care less.
you look silly trying to exclaim you know my experiences better than I do.
I couldn't care less about your experience, but for some reason you need to attack mine.
I've owned plenty of cars over 50 years, driven 100s of thousands of miles and never had a chipping issue on any of my cars.
My Jeep Rubicon gets driven hard off road and no chip issues to justify thousands of dollars of PPF.
Isn't max roof load on a CT ~165 pounds? Gotta figure that tent weighs >50 pounds.
besides, roof top tents are extremely overrated/priced.
A Gazelle T3 popup tent easily fits in the back of a CT and pops open in 90 seconds. $300
