About two weeks late with my reply - the MA inspection station that provided my sticker did not complain about the license plate being stuck to the bumper with 3M double-sided tape. I drove around like that for a month before the Sto N Sho arrived.
Awareness? Hysteria is a more apt description. It took Porsche 3 weeks to diagnose an airbag warning light on my C4S. Maybe I should have asked for a new engine, because, eh, who knows?
I'm not sure if I this is funny or deeply disturbing. Whether electrons have mass or not is not a matter of debate or opinion, but a simple scientific fact that can be verified in any number of experimental approaches. The correct answer is that electrons have a rest mass as indicated above...
Well, electric current is quite literally the net motion of charge carriers through a circuit per unit of time, and for most power circuits those charge carriers are electrons.
But indeed, no electrons are lost or added when discharging or charging a battery - it is just the chemical...
Launching the car by oneself from a traffic light, with no direct or back-to-back comparison, I doubt one can consistently tell a 10% difference in acceleration. Wildcard here is how Porsche decides to fine-tune the launch.
EA works in mysterious ways. Yesterday was my most successful charging session yet, plug&charge worked, rate was good for this particular station and I was able to unplug the cable at the end. Not expecting to be able to repeat this anytime soon.
Absolutely not. Porsche carefully adjusted the performance off the line to establish the RWD->4->4s->Turbo hierarchy. Once moving, the differences of e.g. RWD/4 to 4s are much smaller (e.g., compare 0-60 gap with 50-70).
? not much to add. Last time I sold a car privately we went to my bank and I handed over title/key once the bank wire hit my account.
With the tax offset in MA, I'd want to get ~ 10% more in a private sale vs trade-in to go through the potential hassle. For the Taycan I dropped off my 2014 C4s...
I headed over to the US configurator to see what that complaint could be about - they indeed look like something yucky caught between the spokes of a nice wheel.
So the "vast majority" became "more than half" of the most expensive brand among the top selling EVs. Sounds more like it (even though it's off if one looks at the distribution of used M3s currently on the market). At $55k, Tesla should be able to manipulate prices to get more cars under the cap.
Same happened to me a week ago - plug&charge doesn't work, Porsche Connect doesn't do anything, all credit card payments fail, EA mobile payment fails. EA customer service eventually starts a paid session :swear:
