There was a recent recall on taycans and etrons: https://www.carscoops.com/2022/12/audi-e-tron-gt-and-porsche-taycan-suspension-could-lose-all-of-its-air/#:~:text=A%20total%20of%2028%20Porsche,cost%20to%20customers%20if%20necessary.
Possibly related?
you don't need to press firm or hard, but it has to be a more sudden press. For example, a very slow press all the way down won't trigger the hold.
Play with it a bit in a safe place - come to a very gradual full stop by holding just a bit of the brake. This will stop the car but you won't see...
In the US, I was told the car must be brought in for diagnose as PCNA requires full diagnosis before they are allowed to order the part. I think this is specifically done to prevent stockpiling
Count me in as well. 2022 TTS model, built Nov22, '21 with ~6Kmiles on. Just diagnosed, part ordered, no ETA... just got the car back two weeks ago after it sat at the dealer a month for replacing the HV charger. I thought it may be related but SA said the heater is a very common problem and...
Update:
Got the car today after it had its 22KW HV charger replaced, along with the ANA6 update (color icons). Verified both L2 and L3 charging works. Had a bit of a hickup with plug&charge - it didn't work on the first charger (error "Payment declined"), but after 20min or so, it worked on a...
Absolutely 0 regrets here from fun perspective. Reliability is a different story though.
I currently have a base Cayenne loaner. I honestly cannot believe this car is sold under the Porsche name. Sounds horrible, holds 2nd gear for hours for round-town driving, interior is as cheap as a GMC...
just a shot worth trying i think, but to me it sounds like there is something going on with the center console wireless phone charger. Uncheck wireless charging in settings and see if it goes away
Sad to hear these stories... My 5500 mile '22 TTS in in Bellevue now as well, waiting to be diagnosed. The car refuses to charge anywhere (ac/dc/either side) but otherwise drives fine. I''ve fingers crossed they'd be able to get it back to me by the end of the month.
I honestly am thinking...
Well, I tried 3 dc chargers and a public L2 charger, all with same issue. The car drives fine though so it doesn’t appear to be the hv battery. @FredC057 thank you for the suggestion! i think maybe it’s a Germany-only treatment you’re getting though. I called Porsche roadside and the only thing...
I have a JuiceBox48A hardwired installed. The car (2022 TTS - don't have the colored icons update yet) has the 22kw charger. After a 1hr drive with extra 2hrs sitting in the car in a parking lot with AC/carplay on, I got home with ~46% and plugged it in as usual. The car started charging fine...
Clear. Stealth wrap is not my thing. I don't like it on any cars. Every time i see one in person I'm just so happy about how much better my clear shiny car looks.
which dealer was that? I've had a mixed experience with Bellevue over the past decade with my 911 and now the Taycan. On the other hand, I fear the other dealers around might not have enough experience dealing with Taycans yet.
I think this thread could've also benefited from a poll. I have no problem with an etiquette protocol where your car can get unplugged when charged. unfortunately, the technology isn't there to allow the taycan to be safely unplugged. I also have no idea what cars out there are ok with a live...
Same thing happened to me. Resetting the 12v battery by disconnecting solved it. see https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/no-data-connection-and-no-remote-features-22-tts.11299/
something obvious to try - when you start driving and just shows the Taycan logo, just tap on the screen and see if it wakes up. I had this happen to me initially with my 16yr old and couldn't figure out how to turn it on when it just needed a tap on the screen :)
I've had these pop up in heavy fog or in very strong rain but self-clear on next run. If you're seeing this more abnormally, I'd check to see if maybe there is some internal condensation in your cameras (rear, mirrors, B-pillar and front)
This helped my issue with no vehicle-to-cloud data connection.
There are different suggestions as to how long is long enough. I left mine off for ~10min, but I've seen recommendations not to go over 5min. I believe the issue here is that there is an emergency power reserve used for the SOS...
