Yeah it went a while back, I sometimes wish I’d kept it around but selling it to the dealer for a profit doesn’t happen that often.
I’ll take a look at the 2025 model or the Aston/Lucid combo next.
Mine intermittently would come back but it progressively got worse. Turned out to be a bad rear camera that the dealer replaced. Others had to have their entire wiring harness replaced to resolve the issue. Fingers crossed you are in the single camera camp.
They had some issues with early test builds but they are on track to deliver in the next few weeks to Kickstarter backers as far as I know.
I’ll update this post if the unit isn’t very good when mine arrives.
Hola,
Figured I'd chime in here. I owned a fully loaded Taycan Turbo for just over 9 months and ended up selling it back to the dealer for $15k more than I paid for it.
I came from a 2018 Model 3 Performance and replaced the Taycan with a 2022 Model S Plaid. I'm still here as I'll probably...
Very sad news and a tough way to go.
I've got one of these in all of our cars now, much easier than the 9mm solution that someone proposed earlier ?!?

Just for others that may be interested, the rubber on these wheels are Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance and as I mentioned they have only been used for one season so very little wear.

If anyone is interested I’m selling my Taycan Turbo Winter Tire Set. https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/canada-20-inch-taycan-turbo-winter-tire-set.11980/
Hi,
I’m selling my genuine Porsche Tequipment 20 inch Taycan Turbo winter tire set. These tires only saw limited use over one season.
They were purchased for $8400 at Porsche Oakville.
$5500 ono and buyer can pickup at Porsche Oakville.
It’s all a matter of personal perspective. I mentioned the model years as well because both sides have improved. 2020 was the first year for the Taycan and they have improved manufacturing gradually, same thing on the Tesla side. A 2015 Model S is no comparison for a 2022 Taycan or Model S...
I
As an owner of a fully loaded 2020 Taycan Turbo and a 2022 Model S Plaid I’ve got to say this video is BS. The trim squeaking may be real but the console test is total BS. I’d argue that the center console is much better built than the Taycan and a league better than the Lucid Air GT that I...
I've got some experience of the Taycan in the -20 to -30 range. I changed my Mission E rims to the Tequipment high efficiency rims with snow tires ($8500 for the set!). The car is heavy but handles nicely in the snow. Clearance is an issue for the deeper snow so as others have recommended I...
