Collecting my GTS in the morning so just under 7 months from start to finish, not bad with the current world.. Done the Silverstone experience last Friday too, well worth doing for anyone that isn't 100% about doing it. We stayed up that way to make a weekend of it.
You have some good points. It could certainly be improved. Was surprised no Porsche dealer there either, Portsmouth and Bournemouth really not far. Maybe the long weekend didn't help. I would have been there with my Taycan if I had it, had participant tickets but delays delays.
Just to add, it seams the My Porsche app can have big delays in updating. e.g Mine still says Stage 3 (due production) but I know it is built and starting to make its way over. Think someone else said it was on stage 3 also when they had just got confirmation it has arrived at dealership.
My GTS was originally due to start production 18 March. It went back 4 weeks with all the new delays. So production starts this Friday fingers crossed, not been told of any further delays.
No relation unfortunately to the build. Seems pretty random the dates for invites I guess dependent on car ordered. I had my original invite for my cancelled order, 2 months after I ordered. With a 12 month delivery estimate at the time. They like to tease us
