Just an update. Car got fixed today!
Issue was the comfort access was not software activated. If you’re at the dealership, tell them to code the vehicle for comfort access. Then function enable it
I have the same issue! Taycan GTS. Comfort access not working. No option to turn it on the PCM. Even confirmed with my dealership. I’m bringing the car in this weekend to take a look at it
I posted my results earlier about searching most of the country for an allocation (GTS sedan). The process was painless, took me about 2-3 hours to email 97 dealerships and I found 13 allocations (5 MSRP) when I searched in March 2022. Things might be different just a few months later, but I...
Oddly enough, I found that people reported the (useless) summon feature on Tesla’s drain a lot of battery. Since it never works properly for me, I turned it off on my Model S, and vampire drain went from 6% a day down to 1%! Not as good as the Taycan it seems, but much better than before!
Looks like a bunch of people on rennlist got on that ship.

Personally, my car is waiting for a ride for Houston. I’m tracking Siem Cicero, Olympian Highway, and Lake Wanaka for possible vessels.
Hence why you draft a truck going 70+ mph so you don’t have to go 60 mph driving solo just to get to the next charger. Ideally you have enough battery without having to do any of these shenanigans, but sometimes the conditions, charger, or trip estimation are not perfect.
No matter how...
While I don’t have my Taycan yet, another tip I find really useful is staying behind trucks or other big vehicles. You don’t want to get too close, but if you can find a truck or SUV going 75+ mph, you can save 15-20% over 2 hours of driving. I did this regularly with my Tesla if I was cutting...
Just an update, I just learned that the dealership in Okemos, MI has an open GTS sedan allocation available at MSRP. My list was updated for those of you who have it.
I wrote up my experience recently of finding my GTS. Check it out. It’s a pretty painless process to find an allocation somewhere in the county
