    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

LOL, clearly you do not live with a wife and 3 kids. We have several cars, definitely better keeping the keys in the car, unlike the rest of the world For this car and only this car, I've begun taking the remote into my office

    Pressing Park OR pushing/holding off?

Many times, when parking, I simply push and hold the on/off button and the car will put itself into park and turn-off......but sometimes it just turns off and does not go into Park, any thoughts on this?

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

Did a search and some research on Faraday pouch and for about $10 I can get 2 of them from Amazon....easy enough. Question: so after I park the Taycan in my garage and slip the fob into the pouch, can I then leave it in the car and it'll be fine....OR...will the Taycan automatically lock the...

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

Well, to be fair....we live in the city but we have front gates and then a middle gate and 3 dogs for anyone to get through before they get near the garage. To be clear, we only leave our keys in the cars AT HOME....not when we're out & about. I should have clarified on that, sorry. Also...

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

We keep all our keys in the cars so we never need to go looking through pants, shorts, various rooms and other places. We're behind gates, no security issue. Keeping keys inside the house is about 60-feet away but I'd need a place to routinely keep them.....and only the Taycan would need this...

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

Yeah, that's what I figured, thanks for confirming. I don't like keeping it away from the car, it means I might not find it when I'm rushing out the door...but yeah, I get it, thanks again

    Key fob battery routine replacement?!

I did a quick search and couldn't find much.....so I'm posting! The CR2032 battery in these fob remotes, I've changed mine about 3-4x now, it seems like they last about 2-3 months and then die (granted the batteries were eBay bulk pack). I do leave my remote in the car so perhaps that's part of...

    Great rear cargo trunk liner!

I don't really think of it as a sedan but yeah....I do not have the CT nor can I say if it'll fit, sorry

    You ever get that feeling....

Beg to differ..... It'll always be a vehicle with a motor and battery, newer/better batteries can be installed, software can be updated/upgraded. Sure, it may not have hover-mode or other high tech features come along but it'll always be a Porsche so there's that. Beyond that, we buy these cars...

Rear Axle Steering....not needed, nice to have, or must have?

Love it, many advantages, worth it....would do it again.

Dealing with the front license plate

FYI......there are 2 major reasons they want you to have a front license plate: First is for identification so they can see the plate in video, pictures and intersections that have those photo-cameras Second is because those speed guns rely on the signal bouncing back to the gun, they need a...

    Car switches on by itself…

At home, I park the car in the garage, turn it off and leave the fob in the cup tray. Every now and then the car will turn itself back on. No cure, just part of the many quirks of this car. It's just like dealing with a beautiful woman.....she's just gonna do stuff that makes no damn sense and...

Going From 22 to 23. Would You Do It?

Gotta go with the flow: firmly saying NO! As the driver, I hardly even notice the roof, it's something only passengers COULD notice....even the cost of new registration isn't worth that upgrade. Now, technology that has a camera that can identify and spot highway patrol and cops....now that's...

    You ever get that feeling....

You ever get that feeling that one day, be it 1 year, 10 years or 25 years from now, when you go to sell your Taycan the new owner will point-out some feature or cool detail that you never noticed????? Granted, I probably have ADD but I've spent time going through the PCM and manual and yet...

    Brake-hold observation

Yes, I do have a list and it's FULL of literally every station on the dial. My car came with 820 miles so the previous owner may have somehow entered a ton of stations. As usual with this car, best I spend some time sitting in the garage tinkering with it, thanks

    Brake-hold observation

2021 and the brake hold works fine, just requires what I feel is twice as much downward pressure to activate

    Brake-hold observation

Okay, I'll try that....usually I come to a stop and just press harder on the brake to activate but I'll try a complete release and then re-apply to see if that makes it activate without dropping 40 pounds onto the pedal. Thanks

    Brake-hold observation

Please trust me on this: the amount of downward pedal pressure required to active the brake-hold on the Taycan is at least twice of even 3x more than any other vehicle with this same feature requires. I know it can't be adjusted so I'm just bitchin' into the wind but curious if others experience...
