I've had no problem with mine. I have an adapter and it has worked the half dozen times I've used it since I got my CT4 on May 31. The Tesla wall charger is at a summer home. I was concerned the first time so I had extra charge just in case, but it was a non-issue after all.
I think I've considered the charging option less fully than I think. I've read that people, when the consider optioning the 400v/150kwh on board charger, to be doing that for when Tesla opens up its superchargers. But, is there more to it than that.

I have a new 2023 CT4 on order but I've begun wondering if it might be better to go with a used 2022 CT4. Is there much if any difference between a base 2022 and a base 2023 CT4 if both have the upgraded software? Right now paying a bit over MSRP for my 2023 order. I see that most used 2022s...
Yes, I am not that concerned about high performance summer scenarios. Weather in the Northeast can get cold and rainy at any time of the year so perhaps the all seasons will be an acceptable choice. I may just use these all seasons for the first bit and see how they perform in the winter here...
Waiting on my Taycan CT4 to arrive in February. I am mulling tires. Right now it is spec'd with 21" all-season. I live in Boston and drive to Maine/Acadia area, where I have a summer place, often ... in both the summer and winter. The odds are I will not be heading up to Maine the remainder...
