100% charge mileage

I fell asleep the other night when I was charging my 4S and it went to 100%.
I was so pissed at myself, but when I checked the mileage available it was 227 miles exactly.
I try and not do that, but once in a while I forget and it happens.
I've tried limiting my charge via my Computer but it never stops it?
Any suggestions how to get it to actually stop the charge at 80%?

I just set a general profile with minimum charge at 85%
no timers needed.
If I need to charge more than 85 I enable direct charging

IIRC this requires you to also select "optimized charging" to ensure that the profile will stop at 85% and never continue past.

At 100% I get 240 miles with ambient temperature in the high 60’s.
