"Using the plug sockets
Electrical accessories can be connected to the plug socket.
The USB sockets are located in the storage compartment in the front armrest (USB Type C) and in the rear between the rear seats (USB Type C). 12-volt plug sockets are located in the storage compartment in the front armrest and in the rear luggage compartment on the right in the direction of travel.
Devices can be charged in the USB sockets in the storage compartment in the front armrest (USB Type C) and data can be transferred to the PCM as the vehicle is ready to drive. Electrical accessories can always be charged in the USB sockets in the rear between the rear seats (USB Type C) (no data transfer to the PCM possible). Electrical accessories can always be operated from the 12-volt sockets in the storage compartment in the front armrest and in the boot on the right in the direction of travel.
Connecting the charging adapter
INFORMATION
The above is taken from the online My Porsche user manual.
Would I be correct to safely assume that if I connect a dash cam to the 12V socket in the front arm rest - that when the car has been turned off for more than 30 minutes the dash cam will lose power and turn off? (This is what I want - so that the 12V battery isn't drained!). I assume the 30 mins of power to the dash cam won't drain the 12V battery.

INFORMATION
- The 12-volt plug socket and the connected electrical accessories function even if the vehicle is switched off.
- The power supply is interrupted after a maximum of 30 minutes to protect the vehicle battery. To switch on the load again, the power button must be pressed and the vehicle switched on.
- The maximum load capacity of a 12-volt plug socket is 20 A but only if one load is operating. Do not exceed a 10 A load per 12-volt plug socket if several loads are operating simultaneously.
- Unshielded devices and equipment can cause interference to radio reception and in the vehicle electronics."
