I just suffered yesterday my third puncture on a rear tire and suspect someone may be behind this. My first time the tires had 2000-3000km of tread left so I just changed all four. 2000 kms. later another screw in my rear right tire. Since I had changed them recently, I only changed the punctured one. Now after 6000 kms. the other rear tire with a screw again and another slow puncture. Have to change the rear pair now. So basically I have bought seven tires with 24,000 kms. on the Taycan, and have a set of new rears and a front set with maybe 10,000 kms. left on them. Either have had very bad luck or vandalism by a very envious individual (don’t want use crude wording).

If there are any construction projects on your daily route, change your route. Here in Florida, it is not uncommon unfortunately. I've always felt like my tires have magnets. Understand your pain tho.

From my perspective, three times getting a rear puncture is unlikely… front wheels normally roll through the same footprint some milliseconds before… or do you think I always get a puncture while I am steering, or reversing ? :headbang:

Rear tires tend to pickup the screws/nails much more than the fronts. I had 7 replacements/repairs on my Panamera GTS in 100K miles - all on the rear tires. I had my first on the Taycan a few months ago - rear tire again. They are a bit wider, but this is a real puzzle. Your point about the fronts covering the same track is absolutely correct. Perhaps the fronts 'kick up' the nail and the rears suffer the consequence?? Very puzzling.?

This is what I have always been told. You run over the nail with your front tire, which kicks it up, and the back tire hits it while its not yet flat on the road, which leads to the puncture.
