I'm gonna have to call BS on that. He thought it was the wheel bearing, replaced it, deleted all the fault codes. And so far it hasn't happened again.

But I'm willing to bet 20 quid it will!!
Lets see,
The car was throwing a mechanical error for the abs left side, which threw the diff, this was by a couple of days of data logging, the car also had a clunk sound from the rear left, which has also disappeared. Abs sensor didn’t fix it, 300miles if driving no errors,

Wow, I guess that's a good outcome. How much did the independent charge you?
To quote the great Forrest Gump, "These cars are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."

4 hours diagnosis, which meant the car had to be driven and data logged to replicate the fault as you could drive it 1 mile or 20 miles before the fault came.
Plus the installation of the wheel hub and driveshaft.
changed the whole wheel hub and driveshaft from a breakers car which cost £300 parts self sourced. £300 in labour
I’ve had a similar issue before too, where the car wouldn’t drive OPC confirmed rear motor ev specialist found a fuse blown in the trunk, and wiring rubbed through which caused a short right wheel
