Ambient lighting brightness

Curious how bright the ambient lighting is? Does it show up in daylight or overcast days? Also, what interior reflects the lighting best? I figure Chalk would, and look at it as a great way to add the interior color splashes I’d like (I.e red lighting on chalk leather without needing to have all red interior).

It doesn't show up on sunny or overcast days and I keep mine at 100%. It will show up at sundown and really dark rainy days.
Lighter color interiors will show off some colors more. I have found poppy red to not be as bright as other colors against my red door panels.
