I consistently get no results when using the Navigation to search for Porsche Charging Services even when I know I’m close to an EA station (within 5 miles). Is there a setting I need to fix? Thanks

I have seen the same, there is some sort of software screw up that needs fixing. I am really thinking of bailing out of this car. Way too many flaws

use PlugShare to plan your trips in the US, you can filter which stations you want it to show.....works great and is free....problem solved.

While PlugShare is a very good resource, the Porsche ea stations are the only ones I would like the nav system to focus on. FREE AND fast trumps slow and costly. Because of another fail to charge I was forced to use a costly EVGO charger , 50kw unit that barely delivered 30kw. 70 minutes of charging to get 160 miles that cost $33.
the real issue is that this is just another tech failure with the car. Porscheis really tarnishing their brand with this extremely buggy car

yep, you can do that. Just go into the filter settings of PlugShare and only have EA stations checked. It picks them all up.....then just put the address in as a stopover.
I do this as I don't like the algorithm that the Porsche Nav selects with the power management as it always has me getting to the destination with pretty low energy. Often when traveling, I like to show up to the hotel full, so I add in a stopover to do so late in the trip.

one more thing, you can even set the filters at a kW level, so let's say you only want EA stations that are 150kW and higher, you can do that in the filter settings as well.

Don’t I need to select a charger through the navigation in order to precondition the battery? Or is there another way? Not a big issue now during summer, but I’ll be driving long distance trips during the winter months and using EA stations.

All these work arounds are fine, however the issue remains that this just another feature that had failed to work as promised. Sure this software failure is a very minor one but it is just another one of many fails. Porsche sure didn’t bench test the car properly

to be honest, I am not sure. Every time I have added a station to the navigation it picked it up as an charging station and I have never checked if it preconditioned or not. I just simply don't know the answer, I also didn't know that the car pre-conditioned the battery prior to a stop...that is a new one on me.

Same here, sometimes the Nav cannot find the EA chargers and it returns empty list. This happens even if the car has strong LTE signal so it is a problem at the Porsche servers
Also when it does find them it shows the wrong number of available chargers in each location.

Yes you need to have a charging station as your destination in the navigation in the car. It requires that the Charging Planner is included in the spec. It is described in the Good to Know app. You can enter it automatically via the navigator or manually in the car as well as through the Connect app.

It makes a huge difference in charging times in colder weather as the battery is pre conditioned.
See pic below for description in Good to Lnow!
