Has there been any communication from Porsche that it plans to launch a BEV version of the Panamera anytime soon? A BEV Panamera seems to be rather close (dimension- and concept-wise) to the BEV Taycan to have both in the Porsche model line-up.

Well they Need to make a move in the next 3 years I’d say. The panamera is comically it out date compared to the cars planned to come out around 2025. Do to think they will just kill the big cruiser?

I have no clue, actually. One thing Porsche could do to avoid a BEV Panamera to be too much of a Taycan clone is to make its interior bigger (which should be feasible with electric propulsion) while keeping the same overall vehicle length so that its rear seats and cargo space would become roomier than the current Panamera and that it would become a sportier competitor of the Mercedes EQS.

a mythical product that Porsche hasn't annouced share a plaform from it's associate company ina an indeterminate time frame that has yet to be announced based on the opinions of people with no data on the internet?

the only possible answer to this is: maybe - who knows, it could happen.

But honestly only people internal to Audi/Porsche know this answer, and if they are posting they will lose their jobs.

The current panamera a facelift of a facelift of a facelift, surely. Just an old V8 gt and they’re not long for this world are they. I’m sure porsche will be keeping that panamera lineage, but making it BEV and bigger inside. Let’s see.

New engines, new transmission, new interior design/infotainment on a newly developed platform (MSB) - the current Panamera couldn't be more different from its predecessor.
