Today I did about a 3.5 hour drive, mostly in range mode at 65-70mph. My battery temperature kept increasing - it started at 61F and by the end of the drive was at 87F. It was only 45F outside and I've done this drive several times and I think the battery temp is generally around 65F.

I'm going to call the dealer service tomorrow but thought I'd ask this group for any wisdom or what you've noticed your battery temp normally running during driving?

As an aside, not bad consumption today. I have snow tires (Pirelli P-Zero snow) and mid 40's outside temperature isn't the best for consumption. If you are doing the math on range, I did charge at a 9kw charger for 30 min or so.

not an issue - anything below 120F is deeply unconcerning

132f is a ‘cut off’ where the car will start throttling power to the motors to preserve battery health - 87F is well with in normal range that I’ve observed since owning my Taycan starting in July 2020

the porsche people know what they are doing, if the car is not warning you it’s a problem, it’s not a problem.

I've had it get up as high as 92° while driving hard, and much higher during fast charging. My sense is that the car likes to keep the battery at between 80° and 90° F, and it seems to vary with both drive mode and state of charge.

33 kWh/100 miles is indeed a good consumption result at a 45F exterior temperature. Your battery temperature does not seem anything to worry about.
