Boot closing

Folks,

I have a MY21 Turbo. The boot opens no problem but will only shut using the button in the boot frame. I cannot get it to shut using the PCM console even though I have found two ways to get that button to show.

I can open it from the center console but not close it.

the dealer says this is normal and has shown me a brand new car with the same issue - an internal ‘button’ which has no function.

is this not a function in the UK?

Another way of saying this is... push and hold the button on the screen in the car and it should close. You have to hold it until it is completely shut. Works exactly this way with the rear hatch on the CT.

Nope, nothing.

mine works by holding the closing button while the vehicle is in P.

the logic is pretty much like manually retracting and putting back the rear spoiler, you hold it.
