Prior to this I had a Panamera GTS, prior to that I had a 2500HD Denali, both had a decent airfoil that directed bugs up and over my windshield and did not notice this much at all.

However, on the Taycan, this is suppose to have one of, if not the, lowest drag coefficients on the production market.

Yet, I have to stop multiple times a week to clean the windshield from all of the dead bugs on the windshield. One early evening, coming back from my sons lacrosse game, I actually had to stop half-way home at a gas station (thought I didn't have to visit these relics of the past anymore) to clean the windshield due to it almost being dangerously obstructed with bug juice and particles all over.

Does anyone else notice this, or is it just me. Do others think that this design is a Bug Killing Machine! I suppose, this is great news for eradicating West Nile or EEE, but is almost a burden on additional stops, simply to clean the windshield. Interested in others feedback, or is this a non-issue, or do you notice it now that I mention it?

I came to Taycan from Panamera 2018 as well and before that I drove BMW 640i. Agree the windshields gets dirty by bugs. I thought because of the materials I used to wash the car. Who knows!!

I see bugs on the front bumper but not the windshield.

Its not much of an issue generally for cars over here in England (can't comment on Taycan as not got mine yet).

However, rain is an issue!
So when we do get a bit of sun, I find that the 'Rain X' that I use for repelling rain off the windscreen reduces the number of fly splats.
And the ones that you do get on your windscreen are easier to remove (often just with wash/wipers).

It's just spray on / wipe off stuff that I use every so often when cleaning the cars. I just put extra on when it's warm weather.

That is actually an interesting point...I am now wondering if there is a special coating on the glass that might be a little more tactile than others?
I suppose I could try clay-bar on the windshield and then even apply some sort of sealant. I am not a fan of Rain-x due to how it streaks and it not lasting long. However, I will look into something that has more longevity to it. I wonder if there is a ceramic version for the windscreen?

Does anyone have this on their windshield?
