As you know there was a Safety Recall on the 240V NEMA power cable for the Mobile charger - because the charger got hot at the receptable interface. Anyway, I have a 2021 Taycan with the aformentioned Mobile Charger and 18" power cable. When I took the unit and cable to my Porsche dealer they reprogrammed it and gave me a new 18" power cable. Unfortunately the new 18" cable is manufactured backward with the electrical prongs facing away from the wall outlet so the only way to plug it in is to twist the cable (or have the charger face the wall when plugged in) which seems very unsafe. Pictures attached. Anyone else have this problem? Solutions? Thanks.

Thank you. I still have the issue with no resolution as of yet.
there is no resolution - twist the cable head - you'll be fine - or give up on Porsche since they have proven over the past 4 years they haven't a single effective clue…there are a range of excellent alternatives for $700 or less…

I swapped mine under the recall too, and the dealer handled it pretty quickly once they confirmed the serial number. While waiting, I used a spare cable I’d made for another project with gear I’d gotten from hkcablemachine.com, which kept me mobile without stressing the original setup. If your dealer is slow, maybe ask if they can at least test the unit so you’re not stuck guessing.
