Has anyone else wondered why the car lets you have the seat heating and cooling on at the same time? What's up with that? Is that something anyone would actually choose to do?

I think it’s designed to circulate warm air with the fans. So the cooling side of the operation is overridden.

I’ll have to check it out again. Last time I tried it, it seemed like the air was cooling air even though the seat heating was on.

I believe any seat ventilation is supplied by fans in the seat, so there is no access to AC. If you want warm air, you can turn on seat heating and ventilation at the same time. It actually warms you faster than just seat heating if you try it out.
