If I were to buy my 3rd, I'd go for:
CT (more height adjustment, perf battery is standard on j1.1 cars)
Warranty
Turbo
Rear axle steer
Full leather
Bose or better
HD matrix lights
Adaptive cruise
Comfort seats
4+1
Sport chrono and push to pass
Surround view
Dashcam (essential for my insurance)

Nice to have:
HUD
Electric sound (useful in car parks)
Roof rails
Cooled seats
Chrome window trims (depending on car colour)
Noise insulated glass
Comfort access
Soft close doors
Lane change assist
Air bags in rear

Not important:
Painted calipers
21" wheels (detrimental to the ride)
Passenger display
Illuminated door sills
Innodrive (but you may need it for ACC)
Heated rear seats

I would look for arb6/arb7 (to avoid) if possible and check under carriage for damage, otherwise options are subjective there are tons of options out there get what you want if you can and enjoy it .

All are under either ARB6 & ARB7 unless it’s a 25. ARB6 though would be the one to pass on.

What is interesting is I bought a MY24 Turbo S which isn’t, and the vin falls beyond the range. Pick it up in a couple weeks. The Porsche or LG documentation and handling of this has been lack luster.

That’s great so we can potentially add late 2024 to that. What is curious is if the late 2024 actually have the gen 1.2 battery or not.

I have a mid 2024. The vin falls in the recall range, but the recall is not listed when I check the vin on porsche or NHTSA site. The recall also says the vins affected are not consecutive so there's that.

Good point......
Any damage to the battery cover should be the no.1 thing to get checked.

last question... newer car or lower mileage? Seen a couple of very low mileage 2020s or some higher mileage 21s or 22s... newer obv has longer battery warranty left - anything to consider on age vs usage?

Always newer.
Provided it has the right options, colour and condition.
And one that is still under warranty and where you can extend the warranty each year.
If you're not buying from a Porsche dealer, worth considering a professional inspection or paying for the 111-point check.
