Hey, i have recently noticed my steering wheel creaking quite a bit while driving, it’s nothing serious but appears to be the plastic casing creaking when any pressure is applied to the wheel.
It’s really starting to annoy me now, has anyone else got this issue?

Yes! this is happening to me- just behind the left and right sides. a little bit of squeezing pressure while holding the wheel and you can hear it
very disappointing

Hey, when the taycan was in for the heater issue they looked at it, they said they stuck foam tape in a few places…it’s slightly less but still there. I think it’s just actually very cheap, needs a better more solid design with less plastic!

Some cars have this or develop over time. I have driven a few different taycans from most production years (2020/2021/2022/2023) in different specs and all had it to some extent. Cheekily squeezed some new ones at the dealer (2024). Mine occasionally has this as well. Mildly annoying, but if you take the advanced driver courses they tell you not to squeeze the steering wheel and drive with a relaxed grip. Clearly any squeeks are a user error?
