IIRC there are other threads on this forum where people who have had UK orders built in July are talking about delivery potentially being 3 months away from now. But the 12v ancilliary battery supply seems to be the major factor, so with luck that might be resolved soon enough for your build to be completed and shipped within more historically typical timescales (perhaps one month from actual build start).

Too many variables (semiconductors, missing parts, strikes at ports etc)

But my RWD build started first week of Dec 21, collected from Portsmouth 5/1/22.

Fingers crossed you'll be cruising mid October.

Have you asked your dealer for your current build schedule?

I’m scheduled to have car built by 21 October and current indication has the car exiting Sheerness on 4 November.

There’s so much supply chain and general uncertainty at the moment I don’t think you can guarantee any of those dates, but that’s what the planner is showing.

12v battery delay won't help nor will the remanufacture of 1100 Taycans from the loss of vessel Felicity Ace.

Beyond that - semiconductor shortages and wiring harnesses (manufactured in Ukraine) oh and also port strikes.

Pretty much a lottery at this point for any model.

Hi all,
First post, none owner (for now). Based on the current (as given by Tusker) waiting time of 70 weeks, I was thinking of taking a punt on ordering a CT4S being as my Model 3 LR goes back in 68 weeks.
Does this seem about right? I’d be sad to get it wrong and have to decline the car if it came 6 months early.
Just wondered what you thought.
Cheers

Big gamble. I would expect delivery improvements come the end of the year. Impossible to be precise.

Lols.
For £350 a month I’d not say a word against it. But I’ve always wanted a Porsche…
Probably won’t be as fast or go as far on a “tank” but I can’t help the inner yearning. At 47 I’m probably what can’t be class as mid life anymore, so it must be another crisis. And salary sacrifice schemes help too!! Not often I want a car’s waiting times to stay ridiculously long!
