Lock the car and leave it for an hour or so as it may well clear.

Many posts on the forum for this fault sometimes with a positive outcome.

Have called Porsche assistance and the dealer. They want the vehicle brining onto site tomorrow. It will need to sit here now. Just had to be the evening I have no pool cars on site. Tonight’s alternative transport is one of my Citroen Relays…..

Bit of a nightmare especially on a new car. Be interested to hear if the problem has cleared (or not) by the time the recovery occurs.

Okay so recovery have found that 12v battery was very low and then guess what error gone! I apologised to the technician for wasting his time and have now driven it home, but I have this warning now on the display.

I have connected it to my home charger and will be dropping it off at 9am at Porsche Wilmslow. I am not sure if plugging in will help as the battery is already at 96%

Thought as much. The 12v will / should charge with the car powered on - in fact it is meant to be topped up via the 800v HV battery.

Leave your EVSE connected and enable direct charge (to bypass any timer or profile) and see what happens after an hour or so.

The worry is not knowing what led to the drain (was an issue on early cars but subsequently software patched twice since then to address).

You can select 12V battery voltage presentation in your right dial.
It should read 13.4V exactly.
If it's lower the battery isn't being charged.
If it's higher it's charging.
Maybe your Porsche dealer will tell you this too (or not...).

What is strange is that I got back from Canary Wharf yesterday and charged the car at work all day today so it was fully charged when the error happened. I have the latest software upgrades and it’s booked in for an issue with my seat and cup holders on the 14th. This will be my 6th dealer visit for car issues….

No nothing at all, not had this fault before and have covered 22,000 miles in this car now

Ok. Perhaps a failing 12v battery but let's hope not as they're a rare commodity as I'm sure you're aware.

Currently says 13.5V

That's ok.
I heard that after the uPdate the voltage is raised by 0,1V to 13,5V, couldn't find confirmation about that though.
You're fine now.

Yes this is what I am worried about. The only other part that has failed is my heat pump so far and that was changed out under warranty
