I seem to have caught the ea charging curse. It used to work for me about 6mo ago, but now, plug and charge fails every time and I have to call ea to get the charge started. Happened many times at 4 different ea sites.

I have charging enabled in the car and I am showing my account set up:

What else could I be missing?

Did it start happening around July 20th, 2023, or prior to the renewal of your subscription?

No way to know. Last charge was like 6 mo ago. Did the subscription to try to get things to work. That page just had a plus sign in it when I looked tat the start of this last weekend. Thing seem to have changed in the app since it worked.

It’s most likely that the car hasn’t renewed its charging credential after the subscription has been renewed. I’m not sure how to best force that. What has worked (accidentally, for me) in the past has been to get the car out of cell signal range and/or lock it for an extended period of time (overnight to a day). I’d suggest trying the privacy mode + lock, or unpairing (though that’s a hassle).

Good luck.
