Last week I switched from OVO Charge Anytime to Scottish Power and their EV Optimise tariff. Gas meter failed to transfer but they expect to sort that this week.
It was a bit of a risk as on the SP website you need to select which charger (evse) you have and unlike OVO and Octopus a 32amp Commando Socket is not an option. A bit of research identified that like the others they use Enode API to connect with Porsche Accounts so I just selected any charger on their list and hey presto it worked. So far so good after 5 sessions at 8p/kwh with no daytime premium.
Charging is anytime other than 4pm to 8pm.

Their one year fixed tariff is also good value unlike OVO's which is well above MSE predicted rises

I am with Octopus, you can tell them you have any charger you like if you are using their app and then have them control the car.

I just use the Porsche app timer to charge no more than 43% and finish charging by 5:30 am.

Off peak rate is 3.53p/kWh

Is that a legacy rate? Current quotes I get are 8p/kwh coupled with a big hike on the daytime rates

My tariff is called Intelligent Octopus Go 12M Fixed.

It expires in August, but I think it rolled over from last year.

When I joined, I had to take the standard tariff, then ask to be switched to the EV tariff.

That is a great legacy rate. Hang onto it as long as you can.

Octopus Intelligent Go rates for my postcode are 8p/kwh charging and off peak domestic use but a whopping 32.72p daytime rate compared to Scottish Power 8p/kwh charging only and all domestic use is 24.98p/kwh. Taking account of standing charges and likely only a nominal power shift on domestic use Scottish Power is around £400 a year cheaper for me. Clearly with solar and or battery storage it would put Octopus back in the frame
