Have you tried changing the audio settings in your android app to use a higher bitrate over cellular connections? My Spotify sounds great all the time a I have the audio quality set to "Very High" for both wifi and cellular streaming. I hate the glitchy PCM native Spotify app.
I had it in auto. Changed it to very high in all options. Let's see if improves. Thanks for the tip ✌

If you are experiencing issues with glitchy audio or lower quality in the native Spotify app, it's worth trying different settings, including selecting a higher bitrate for cellular connections. This can potentially improve the audio quality when streaming music over mobile data.
Can confirm. After setting everything to max in the phone app and disabling the "play all tracks at the same volume level", I can't distinguish between native Spotify and android auto Spotify.

However... If I'm paying (or will pay) pcm connective services, then why should I be burning my phone's data plan when the car has Internet?

Ugh
