Safe to drive with broken headlight cover?

What a week for me... 2 fender benders in my 4S in about 4 days... latest one resulted in a broken headlight cover.

The light is still working but am a little concerned about the potential of water ingress and electronic issues.

Of course can't even get the porsche approved bodyshop to even have a look until next week so might be a long wait for repairs.

Perhaps you can apply PPF over the headlight to prevent further damage until it can be repaired/replaced.

I think at the very least I'd consider using a transparent water proof tape over the cracked cover to stop any chance of ingress to exposed electronics 'til replaced. What a pain - hopefully resolved soon.

Had some turd key part of my rear hatch recently - got the worst removed myself and poss not bad enough to warrant a repaint - still mulling it!
