Hoping someone has done the testing around these two options and can share feedback?

Specifically does "Hey Porsche" offer something that Siri does not?

I am thinking in some areas (ie finding EA charging stations) that it might?

Thanks in advance.

"hey porsche" lets you control a lot of car features; to my knowledge "hey siri" only controls your apple phone / car play

Agreed. That's how it was described to me. Because of this Hey Siri is better for stuff you'd normally on your phone as the AI on Siri is far superior to Porsche's attempt. However, you can't do certain car functions I assume with Siri. Not until Siri is built natively into PCM.
