yes all USB-C...But that brings me back to my gripe that my phone has never charged using the wireless charger despite being 99.9% sure settings are correct...Have tested on 4 different family member iPhones...oh well....

The back of the phone has to be next to the car screen facing out - which phone do you have ?

USB-A can't go away fast enough. Low power and data capacity, further hobbled by a large connector that can only go in "right side up". In my experience, USB-A cables also generally have worse strain relief than C and wear out much faster.
