I will stop you right here. The data is 10gb because it's in inefficient XML and CSV formats.
On the servers it's max 1% that and on the cars even less.
I'd not bet on that for sure, would explain so much of the slowness of their systems. ;)

at least they send that stuff zipped :)

They sold me a 3.9 second car, so expect my car can handle 10gb of data in 3.9 seconds

I don't get it. What use would owners have for any of that data?

what which car did you order it J1.1 ? seems you have several modern Porsche
I've certainly been through my range of Porsche's: Panamera Hybrid -> Taycan 4S -> Taycan Turbo S -> 911 Targa.

But only have had one at a time and currently own the 911. So no EV data returned, but I did see a lot of ICE telemetric data in the CSV files with things like: Turbo Boost Atmospheres and data about individual cylinders.

That might explain the data volume differences, just more telemetric to read in an ICE vehicle, though I can imagine the Taycan has a lot of temperature seniors all over the drivetrain.

Data is fun for me and optional for e.g. you.
You can derive so many insight from it or even predictions. My plan was to show some useful relations and graphs but my 15kb data isn't enough for that. not sure if they are providing time series or summaries.

I did that already when the trip data was exportable through their browser based connect page. But they removed that "reversable" API
we already had several threads about that.

They are providing a "subscription" option where (I presume) they email you on a regular basis more updated data as it streams in.

Mostly it's useless, but in Europe it's a legal right to have access to any data stored about you. It's also somewhat eye-opening to see exactly what data is collected by the mother ship.

@tigerbalm yes I saw all my options, on demand and subscribed, but I can only download a tiny fraction of what you were getting.

this is what I get now, sorted by month, took a single "signal" and plot it.
(IstLeistung=actual power) but the units are missing in the data.

Porsche Taycan https://data.porsche.com/ 1763801756134-wf

and most of the data is stored with 1 Hz:

Energy in Wh left y axis and "True SoC" (max 98%) right y axis:
they are drifting and my battery does not reach 80kWh depending on the charging.

there was a 2nd wave of downloads that arrived 2 days ago, not sure if triggered by the subscription. that contained 3 folder for each month and some .csv files like the ones @tigerbalm posted

so this some playing-around with the data. I left the results in the .ipynb on purspose so this is how it looks when executing you own data.
You need to narrow the time span of course to get insights into single trips.
Have fun.

I finally got "big" files, with several compressed other big files inside.

I didn't have time to play with it. I am abroad and Excel on iPad is a joke.
I'll work on it when back home with the iMac.
