How Taycan HV battery repairs are currently handled by my dealer:
--Dealer service has technician who is trained/approved to replace HV battery modules without needing a fly-in Porsche battery doctor to be present.
--Taycans with electrical warning errors and other problems which are diagnosed and receive approval from Porsche HQ for module replacement are repaired at the dealership. These repairs wait for:
HV battery repairs needed for VINs included in HV battery recalls are not done at the dealer location. For recall work, battery is removed from vehicle and shipped to an external facility for repair.

--availability of an HV battery repair tool set which is shared among Porsche dealers in the multi-state region. (Tool set is expensive - approx. $100,000 - so dealers share it.)
