My dealer send me a charger and power cord so I can get it set up before I get the car. The power cord has a NEMA 14-50 plug on it, but the sticker on the cord says it’s only rated for 16 amps. Is this the right one?

Mine has the same sticker (never noticed until seeing your post). But it charges at 40 amps perfectly fine. I don't think a NEMA 14-50 receptacle would ever have anything less than a 50 amp service....so my guess is that you and I have the incorrect sticker.

it’s not incorrecct for 3phase - 3 x 16 amps is 48 amps…I’m guessing the sticker is for european –phase electrical ratings and they didn’t convert for single phase 50 amp rating, but what the hell do I know?
