Labor Day LA-SF Driving

Hi,

I may have to drive from LA-SF the day after Labor day.

Does memorial day weekend drive problems extend significantly to Tuesday, or is it mainly Monday?

Any experience with that?

You already missed it if you meant to drive the day after Memorial Day.

My experience in driving Vegas - SF is that you want to be on the road early. I leave Vegas by 6am, so the traffic on 152 and 101N are only mildly bad.

I don't think the Tuesday would be particularly worse than most regular weekdays.

I also think Tuesday will be no different than any other weekday.

Keep in mind that if there is traffic, an EV is more efficient since you're driving slowly (power consumed per mile is less at slow speeds than fast speeds) and every time you slow down, you're recharging the battery. My best range has been when driving in traffic.
