Hi,

Been looking at Taycan ads for a while and wanted a 4S with the bigger battery preferably in Gentian blue, this popped up at my local Porsche dealer Gen 1 but only 14k miles and like new. Sadly not the bigger battery but pretty much everything else I wanted so ended up buying the first one I saw.

Really enjoying the car, I also have an XC90 but that is not going to get much use for a while

Not my first Porsche, doesn't have the amazing sound of my 911 but in every other way it is a real pleasure.

Just joined the club. Two weeks in and loving it.

Coming from 10 years in a Model S and knowing my driving patterns, a J1.1 was not an option for me. I was looking for used, but J1.2 inventory that matched my goals was really, really tight. I ended up finding this beauty: A 2026 4S Black Edition in Oak Green that was out of production but not delivered yet.

Got a surprisingly good deal, but eyes wide open about the depreciation cliff coming. Not my wisest financial choice but you only live once.

Greetings everyone. I just purchased a new 2024 Taycan Turbo in Ice Grey with Chalk/Black interior. The calipers are also paint-matched and the wheels are 21" RS Spiders.
I got into the 2024 because it was heavily discounted (and my wife really liked the color).
I like being back in a P-Car as I've had 3 in the past. I have to say the Taycan Turbo really does feel familiar!

Joined earlier this month (March) to gain insight into long term ownership experiences. Am looking to find CPO/Preowned J1.2 either 4S or GTS later this year or early next to replace 2018 Model 3 as my daily driver.

I have found real people on forums invaluable to know what to look for, avoid and common issues with my other vehicle purchases over the years. Hoping to benefit for potential Taycan purchase. It will be my first used vehicle purchase so I need all the insight possible.

Welcome. I moved from a 2018 Model 3 AWD to a 2025 GTS CPO (J1.2) 3 months ago. I might be able to help if you have any questions.

New member here Just made the switch from a Macan Turbo with Akrapovič, so going from that soundtrack to near-silence in the Taycan has been… an adjustment

That said, driving my 2023 4S Sport Turismo, I absolutely love every moment behind the wheel. The way it drives, the instant torque, low to the ground, cornering, the whole feel of the car, it’s something else. Just occasionally find myself missing a bit of that old noise.

Looking forward to learning from you all and sharing the journey!

Beautiful car, congrats! I actually prefer the near silent power delivery of the Taycan to the noisy "look at me" power of an ICE. Maybe you will end up feeling the same after a while. Enjoy that beautiful ride!

Off topic.. today I did the circuit run on Zandvoort (F1) circuit. Also Porsche races are here often as well as drivers experience days. Did it ages ago with the 911 Carrera 3.2, will with the Taycan as well. This year maybe, otherwise next year.
anyhow, the scenery was awesome!

I actually agree and expect I’ll fully feel the same over time. The Akrapovič on my Macan was kind of my “last ICE promise” to myself, but if I’m honest it was a bit much at times… even with the CETE valve controller dialing it back

The Taycan just delivers in such a different, more refined way. Really starting to enjoy that side of it…
