New Taycan stating 217KM mileage on dashboard.

Dear All, I went to buy a new Taycan 2025 and the dealer is stating that the vehicle has never been used but it has 217KM on the clock. What are your thoughts? Is this normal? Should I worry?

That doesn’t make any sense. When I took delivery of my new Taycan AND drove home it was showing under 100km (and it was a 60km drive). Never seen this before -clearly it’s been either test driven and returned or something similar

lots of test drive? But in the whole scheme of things, 217km is a tiny amount in the life of the car.

Perhaps a dealer got it from another dealer and drove it to deliver it (That happened to me once)

I agree but there’s a principle involved. Why don’t they just tell you what happened. Now they’ve spoken to porsche about it. I’m sad as this is my first porsche experience.

We have had cars from factory with a higher than expected mileage - there is a clause in the delivery process that states if technical or regulatory checks are required then a mileage increase is to be expected and is not grounds for concern or complaint.

I told them actually because they didn’t even notice and they have no idea. I asked them to request a full history report directly from Porsche.
