PCM Account Login location?

Hello,

Could anyone point me in the direction of the account management section in the cars PCM? I need to re connect my Porsche connect services but I can not find where I can enter my Porsche ID and password.

I’ve been looking in setting for account management but with no joy.

This would have been entered when you purchased the car originally at the dealership.

Firstly thank you for replying.


It was originally set up by the dealer but since then connection has been lost.
I had to do a system reset,

That’s where I’ve been on the PCM system but it not showing anywhere to enter login. I just go through the assistance option and end up back where I am now. It does see and connects to my phone but doesn’t show me anywhere to login in on the PCM.

I’ll take some screen shots of the process I’m going through.

Just to confirm this screen - PCM Home Screen - Settings - Account - select primary user

If this screen is now blank then try the 'Add new user' (one screen back) and you should then see

Thank you all. That was really helpful.
The account option was there in the menu. I turned the car on today after days of messing around and the system (24hrs) after doing a reboot… and the menu opening screen changed. It recognised I didn’t have an account connect d and offer the option to login… thank god.

I then went back into the menu to find the account option and that was also there.it must need to do an update after a hard reset.

So it’s working for now.

I had a similar problem. I was logged out of the system and was unable to log in again. I reset the settings, started and turned off the car, turned off the PCM etc several times, without success. Even the account line in the system's setup had disappeared! (see image)

When I came back to the car several hours later it suddenly asked for my id and I was able to log in. The account line had also magically reappeared.
