PDI uncovered bad Gateway Module?

Got a call today from service manager on our new Taycan that entered the country 3 weeks ago. He says that during the predelivery inspection they found that “the battery (not sure if 12v or HV) is partially discharged because something is running for 10 minutes when it should only be briefly”. So he’s replacing the Gateway Module. Does this make sense or ring warnings? I have since read about all of the 12v battery issues.
