Update - Porsche has refuted this claim as it relates to parts coming from Belarus. Cars awaiting parts in US ports are not because of a Chip from Belarus. There is however a customs issue and care are awaiting a small replacement part...

I happened to have a convo with my SA a couple of days ago when I was scrambling around trying to charge my car during a massive blackout, and he kvetched about this. Did not mention any specific country, but said there was a part that "had not been cleared by US customs, requiring it to be swapped out at the ports".
