Production Timing Question

Hi All,

The good news is that my order is finally in production. It seems to be dragging on for no reason though.

I got an email last week That said:

Congratulations! Your dream has officially become reality.​

Your Taycan 4S Cross Turismo is now ready to embark on a journey from Germany to your dealership, and then to your driveway. By land and by sea, roughly 5,000 miles in total. Don't worry, none of them will hit the odometer.​

And yet, when I look in TYD it says shows as in production (though it does show the amazing pictures)…. Anyone have any ideas? I’m really hoping it makes it to Emden next week.​

Parts shortage or possibly spacing out the boats in anticipation of tariffs being renegotiated.
Mine sat for 3 months from starting production to completion last summer while they worked out some kinks with active ride.
You’re only looking at 1 month between start and completion. Generally the dates are pessimistic, and could get better.
It will all be worth it when the ship finally unloads at the port.

The question is if Porsche will delay production timelines in the belief that the US tariffs will be resolved later in the year?

My car had an April 7th start, May 2nd completion, then moved to May 23rd completion.

Porsche is also keeping cars at US ports untill the tariffs are resolved.

It takes 11 days for your car to get from Emden to Davisville, a few days on a truck to your delaer (if it's in the North East)

Can you look on the Porsche app under Order Information and see your VIN?

Ive been tracking all RoRo vessels from Emden and incoming ones to San Diego (Socal port).
I believe one came in with Taycans on them on the 26th.
I'm waiting to see if they assign a Monroney sticker. That will indicate of they are holding them at the port

Porsche have paused deliveries to US following the ongoing tariff fiasco following what I read in the press earlier today.

Delivery windows logically will become extended.

I can confirm there Taycans on the RORO. Mine is on Glovis Sunlight and now on the way too Benicia.

I should see the 3 I have my eyes on get their Monroney soon with the dates it was assigned, if at all
