Recommended PPF installer in California ?

This is for the owners in the Bay Area of Northern California … Which PPF installer do you recommend? A buddy of mine with a GT3 recommended one in Sacramento but that’s a bit far. I’m looking for someone in the 60mi radius of San Jose.

I have my car there now for a color change and they just finished one of the forum members brand new Taycan Turbo S. They do all kinds of cars, but they tend to grab the attention of the higher end of the market. During their open house over the weekend, they probably had $10M in cars in their service bay alone.

Ive had a few cars done by them now, and the finish is flawless. In fact, my color change keeps getting mistaken for a clear PPF job because the work is perfect - they remove body panels etc to ensure there are no exposed corners.

Finally, the product they use matters. Xpel is well known but not the best product anymore. They use stek (www.stek-usa.com) for their work. It is hands down the best stuff I have seen on the market. ZERO orange peel and extremely hydrophobic & durable; so no need for a ceramic coating to add to your cost afterwards.

If you can make it on their schedule, it is the best place to get this done.

Jim at California Detailing is the best there is in the bay area. He's got an amazing team and has incredibly high standards. You cannot go wrong. I made the mistake of going to someone else because his calendar was booked out for two months and have regretted it.
