Removing console lid?

Just purchased a new console lid with logo. Does anyone know how to remove the lid? I don't see any screws to remove. I'm guessing it just pops off, but it makes me nervous to do it without knowing for sure.

I don’t know but I came here expecting that you were tired of a lid that couldn’t stay up so you were just going to remove the whole thing

Perhaps when u finally get around to removing it you can take pics along the way to allow the group to assess solutions for getting the lid to open all the way!
