So this is fully plug and play with no different apps or wiring needed? Are the Bose amps strong enough to power the speakers?thanks for all the help! it was a success. I'm upgrading the speakers and WOW! what a big difference from the bose speakers, the clarity is next level with audiofrogs. I'm going to look into replacing the door speakers now as well.
if anyone is curious I got plug and play speakers from https://www.scrdistribution.co.uk/porsche-taycan-2033-c.asp![]()

Can I ask why you only decided to do the tweeters and centre speaker to start? Was shipping cheap that it was okay to do 2 separate orders now that you want to do the door speakers?correct fully plug and play. yes the bose amp is strong enough to power them. i replaced the 2 tweeters and dash speaker with audiofrog 2x GS10 and GS25
thanks for this. now i can try to install the Felt Tape i bought from Porsche myself to remove small buzzing/rattle that comes on when music is playing at loud 22+ setting.Does this help?
Curious what you are looking to do! Please share details.
I went to a local car audio shop that specializes in high end car audio builds and they recommended the best value for the money would be to swap out the tweetersCan I ask why you only decided to do the tweeters and centre speaker to start? Did you do any research on the audiofrogs vs the Focals or Feelarts they also offer?
Wondering if I should do the whole 9 speakers kit or just specific components like you.
Thanks in advance.
My concern with the GS8ND is that it's basically a subwoofer and if you're going to put that in the door you dampen the shit out of the door with sound deadener because it's going to rattle otherwise. I guess it's fine if you have no other bass in the car, but judging from the amp you bought, it looks like you have the Bose system?I went to a local car audio shop that specializes in high end car audio builds and they recommended the best value for the money would be to swap out the tweeters
+ amplifier as the bose ones are terrible. my plan was to stop after this but of course.. as we all know in the modding world, once you start, you cant stop.
i just installed this plug and play amp https://bilradiospes.no/tuneup/brsd...-bose-porsche-taycan-ct-st-2021--gt--9vl-bose. would recommend this, HUGE difference! bass hits way harder, car will vibrate, have to turn it down. also, have the ability to tune every speaker now.
my next purchase will be 2x GS8SND and 2x GS40 for the 2 front doors. i THINK this will be my final purchase
the 9 speaker setup looks good, in hindsight I probably should've ordered this. the only thing its missing is a dedicated low bass speaker (30hz). it comes with 2 mid range speakers (GS60, GS40) and 2 way speakers (gs62). i don't know enough about audio to know how this will compare vs the GS8SND though
Here you go:Do you have a link to this?
That's a good point. I think I'll look into getting the GS60 And GS40 And upgrade the subMy concern with the GS8ND is that it's basically a subwoofer and if you're going to put that in the door you dampen the shit out of the door with sound deadener because it's going to rattle otherwise. I think the better option would still be to go with the GS60 and GS40 in the doors and swap out the sub in the trunk to something better (the Bose sub sucks).
About the amp you bought - where did you install that? Was it in the front passenger footwell? Do you just remove the Bose amp and put this one in?
