I have a '24 with what I thought were factory Pilot Sport 4 tires.

Date codes are as follows:

Front Left - 3225 Right - 2022
Rear Left - 2821 Right - 4321

Can I assume that means that just the front left was replaced at some point before I purchased the car in July of this year? (I'm the 2nd owner)

I found this in the service history (dated 7/29/2025, mileage 12,152)

--- cut ---
Client request: Porsche Multi-Point Inspection. Findings: Recommended 4-tire replacement; right rear tire found with a nail puncture; alignment service recommended. Customer declined recommendations at this time.
--- cut ---

Being that the right rear has a 4321 date code, I'm assuming that tire has a nail puncture that was fixed? I can't for the life of me find where it was patched, but I guess that's better than it being plugged, which would be pretty obvious.

My car was build 8/23. It it common for tires being installed on the assembly line to already be 2 years old as appears to be the case with my rears? I suppose perhaps Porsche mounted a bunch of tires to Mission E rims well in advance of them being fitted to vehicles going down the assembly line?

It is clear to me that only the front left was changed very recently. The three other tires must be worn out ? Strange to change only one tire ?
