short notice meet & greet? Seattle area?

two options - I can meet like morning coffee time at my hotel lobby (easy public place) or after 11:30 am on my way out of town - some place not to much trouble off of I-5 south

I'd love to say a quick hello and meet & greet and also put faces w/names - I'll be suitably embarassed to have the t-junk with me - but also happy to know i'll be able to charge on my way home to Santa Cruz area...

7:30 am - 9:00 am - at stay bridge suites 3926 Aurora Ave N - Seattle, WA 98103 - Hotel Lobby we can coffee and chat

some suggested location noon'ish on my way out of Town on I-5 south - open to local knowledge and want to avoid any un-necessary congestion delays vs. my path south on I-5… (hotel is also an option around noon)…later in the day is more fluid for start time - as I won't have precised control over when brunch ends and we can say good bye to familiy & friends - I might be delay'd but will be leaving the Seattle area heading to Eugene Oregon after 11:30 - hopefully departing no later than 12:30/1 pm...

I'll look forward to meeting anyone willing to make the effort to enjoy each other's mutual love our -Taycans - tagging these delusional peep's since they volunteered @whitex @snstevens @WasserGKuehlt

Argh, you’re deep in Seattle (I’m in Woodinville) and if early morning doesn’t work then a good intersection point would be way South (Tukwila or such).

I was thinking that it would be only appropriate to meet at an EA station, no?

I'm not clear which day you're talking about? Please confirm.

If "short notice" means tomorrow, Sunday 8/6, then I need to be honest with everyone. I picked up Covid from a granddaughter about 10 days ago. I followed CDC protocols (5 days Paxlovid and isolation, followed by 5 days masking in public), and today is Day 4 of masking. Unfortunately, the test came up positive today.

I would still be interested in meeting up while wearing a mask, but I wouldn't feel bad if you just said "No", since catching Covid on your way home is obviously not part of the plan. "Yes" I'm at the tail end of this thing, but "No" I couldn't guarantee anything.

So which day are you thinking of, and what are your thoughts? (@whitex & @WasserGKuehlt - Your opinion about Covid matters to me too. Happy to skip the meetup if anyone is uncomfortable.)

This is near the junction of I-5 and I-405, and you'll be pleased to know it is right next to a Tesla SuperCharger ?

I'm in a Blue 2023 Model Y - w/CA plates - including a front plate that is a "sticker/decal" - not a lot of CA plate Tesla Model Y's running around in WA with a decal/sticker front CA plate ;-)

I got down here a little bit early and there are 12 stations at the supercharger and they’re all full. Hopefully when you get here, a couple will have opened up.

There is an EA station across the street though, and therefore stations there that seem to be available. The irony!

UPDATE / EA is not operational yet.

For the record this is the first cloudy day in about a month ?
